Dr Adam is a self-confessed evangelical conservative Melbourne Anglican who has had something of a Damascus Road experience in relation to the dispossession from the land of the First Australians, the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples.
A growing number of Indigenous Christian leaders are endorsing Dr Adams words and their call for the Church in Australia to take the lead in fully addressing the justice and ‘original sin’ issue of stolen land.
