Journey toward SURRENDER Summer Orientation
Journey Toward SURRENDER is a part-time/three-month orientation course for young adults to explore with the message of SURRENDER: to follow Jesus to the margins, to discover life by living His love amongst the poor. This is an invitation to young adults to commit a season of your life to seeking God’s heart for the poor, to create space to discern your vocation and to explore God’s Kingdom work in your own context.
WHEN: Journey Toward SURRENDER runs from 16 January – 16 April 2012 and is suitable for university students. The orientation runs one day a week in university holidays and one evening a week during semester times. It also includes taking part in the SURRENDER:12 Conference (Friday 23 – Sunday 25th March).
COST: Journey Toward SURRENDER costs $250 and includes registration for the SURRENDER:12 Conference (normally $115 concession/$165 waged), training and administration fees. If this is a barrier, please contact us: anita@surrender.org.au
WHERE: Journey Toward SURRENDER takes place at various locations – including the SURRENDER office in Footscray, the Indigenous Hospitality House in Fitzroy and at various locations of the SURRENDER Hosting Partner organisations (such as Urban Seed, UNOH, Praxis, TEAR Australia and Concern).
