SURRENDER:13 Youth Leaders Training Day is an interactive training session for passionate youth and young adult leaders, pastors and workers across Australia. This is an incredible opportunity to hear stories and ideas about equipping and empowering young people to become prophetic voices for peace and justice in their own neighbourhoods. Alexi Torres-Fleming will share her story of being called back to the Bronx and working with young people to change the systems that negatively impact them.

Tailor-made to equip youth and young adults pastors, this training day will encourage your leadership team as you disciple young people to follow Jesus’ call to the margins.

An open night to encourage and inspire young people to respond to the injustice we see around us and join in God’s work of bringing the Kingdom next door.

 

This year we’ll hear people’s stories from around the world, including Alexie Torres-Fleming who will share about serving in tough neighbourhoods in the US.

 Youth Stream The Youth Stream is being run by Praxis again this year. Praxis is creating an awesome space to hang out with other young people, hear stories from the SURRENDER key speakers, get to know the Praxis youth and community workers, play soccer and have way more fun than the adults!
Kids stuff
Kids Program (5-12 yrs) This year the Kids Program (for primary aged kids) will explore the themes of SURRENDER in a fun, playful and interactive environment. The S13 Village The S13 Village will be hard to miss! It will be the centre of activities outside of the main auditorium sessions so explore the Village for some great food stalls, info sessions or simply just come and hang out! Connect Conversations As a way to further connect and share at SURRENDER:13, our Hosting Partners will be facilitating Connect Conversations in their tents in The Village each night at 5.30pm. This is an opportunity to gather with likeminded people to pray, chat and share conspirational ideas together throughout the weekend. It’ll be a great way to meet new people, process your thinking and offer support to each other. Time: 5:30-6:00pm daily
