What is SURRENDER?
SURRENDER is a conference with one big idea – to see more people fired up to follow Jesus to the margins of society, to stand in solidarity with the poor and work for justice for the oppressed. Click here to read more.
When is SURRENDER:10?
SURRENDER:10 is on Victoria’s Labour day weekend, March 5th – 8th, 2010.
What does it look like?
SURRENDER looks like a really diverse bunch of people sharing in main sessions, workshops, worship, conversations and contemplation over 3 days in the beautiful surrounds of Belgrave Heights just on the fringes of Melbourne, Australia.
Can anyone come?
Of course SURRENDER:10 is open to anyone but we do try and design the program and content to best suit young adults (sorry baby boomers). We also have our annual Youth Nite during the conference which is on the first Friday night, 5th March. It’s aimed at all you 15-21 year olds with bands, performers and short message.
What types of registration are available?
Early Bird registrations are open until February 5th. You can also purchase Single Day registrations, Concession, Kids and our Samaritan Pack registration which helps us fund someone to attend who is struggling financially. Don’t forget to explore the Slum Survivor experience as well!
Can I book online?

What is the concession status?
You’re eligible for a concession if you are one of the following: full time student, unemployed, pension recipient or health care cardholder.
Can I purchase day registrations?
Yes, you can register for a single day. Details are on the registrations page here.
What facilities are there for camping?
We’ve got acres of camping space ready for a tent city. There’s shared toilet and shower blocks close to every campsite area.
Can I bring a caravan?
Sure, there’s heaps of level, powered sites and plenty of room to fit a whole forest of caravans.
Is there any food available to buy onsite?
Yes, we’re going to have a great range of food options to keep you from starving during SURRENDER:10. Everything from tasty curries, to soups, wraps, vegetarian options and more will be available to purchase on site in our special Food Marketplace. Every SURRENDER:10 registration also includes a free celebration fiesta lunch on the final Monday of the conference thanks to our friends from Nandos.
I’m bringing kids, what facilities and activities are available for them?
All children that you wish to participate in the following programs will need to be registered prior to the conference.
1-5 year olds – There’s a creche being run by accredited workers each day of the conference from 9-12pm
6-10 year olds - Can join in TEAR’s kids4kids program each day.
11+ Our good friends from YFC will be running a program for High School age youth.
